Offering Effective Analysis — Insight, Recommendation, Impact

This is a persistent challenge. You want to offer a snapshot of all the variables and all the factors that were taken into consideration. But your audience wants to know only three things up front:

1. What is your point?
2. What do you want me to do?
3. If I do it, what do I get?

Then — and only if the details are tied directly to these three questions — should you get into the weeds with all the charts and graphs.
